Virtual Organizing Sessions

Price:
$100 for each one-hour session
$450 for five hour package

One-on-one coaching and guidance in decluttering and home organization via video conferencing on your device

Projects can include:
  • Reorganizing a closet
  • Creating a home office
  • Repurposing a room into a guest bedroom, craft room, or nursery
  • Reimagining your kitchen so that it is easier to cook and clean up

The goal is to help set up systems that make your life easier and less frustrating!

Typically, clients meet for one hour sessions on a weekly basis.  During each session, we will take a tour of your space and discuss what is working well vs. what needs improvement.  We begin by going through items one at a time by category to help you determine what you would like to keep.  Then, we will rearrange the items as needed to be more functional.  Some clients are eager to complete tasks between sessions while others prefer to have one-on-one help throughout the entire process.  It's all up to you!

Example Client:  Organizing Maternity Clothes
The client was a new mom who was frustrated with getting dressed each day.  Her closet was overflowing, yet she couldn't fit into most of the clothes.  Not only was it difficult to locate something that fit, but it was also taking an emotional toll knowing that the clothes didn't fit.  She ended up wearing the same few items over and over as they came out of the wash.
We first took the clothes out by category, beginning with shirts.  We went through them one-at-a-time.  The client decided whether or not the item brought her joy and was still in good condition.  Then, we sorted them by size.  In the end, we created a series of storage boxes that were organized by size.  The clothes that went back in the closet were all currently-fitting clothes.  After our work together, she knew that she could open the closet and fit into anything in there.  As time went on and her body changed sizes, she could easily replace the clothes in the closet with ones that fit from the appropriate storage box.
Our work took several sessions.  It was important for her to have support while decluttering, so she did not work between sessions on her own.  She was thrilled with the results, relieved to open the closet each day, and happy to be able to easily get dressed in the mornings.
