Past Workshop Topics:

Organizing Your Inner & Outer Self:
Incorporating Gratitude, Joy, and Stewardship into Organizing your Home
This workshop will include time for self-reflection and goal-setting as well as the opportunity to participate in group conversations about how we can approach home organizing from the perspective of our faith and relationship with God.  We will study several Scripture verses and discuss how to apply them towards making decisions about our homes, our belongings, and our donations.  This program will include an overview of how to get started with your home organizing.

Parent Organization:
Feeling frazzled?  Feel more in control by implementing some of these ideas.  The presentation will include tips for setting up a family paper management system, dealing with incoming and outgoing mail, using a family calendar, and creating family routines to help decrease stress.  The goal is not to make life more complicated but to take off some of the pressure using simple systems.  The program can include tips for managing your child's schoolwork and workspace at home.

Home Organization:
Participants will begin by visualizing their ideal home and thinking about why they would like to get organized.  The presentation will include an overview of home organization, tips for getting started and overcoming overwhelm, before and after photos, and time for personal goal setting.  Organizing your home isn't just about physically organizing, but it's about your mindset and how you live your life.

An Organized Workspace:
Feeling overwhelmed at work?  Struggling to work from home?  This program will cover topics such as creating a tidy workspace, decluttering your desk, organizing papers, and managing scheduling and calendars.  Having a tidy space, keeping track of your items and creating useable to do lists can help reduce anxiety and increase productivity.

Kids - At School:
Looking for ways to help your child take ownership of managing their schoolwork?  This workshop will include ideas for tidying a desk or workspace, keeping track of homework, turning in assignments on time, organizing backpacks and lockers, and creating systems to avoid forgetting things.  Parents can help students by creating daily checklists and setting up a family paper management system.  The goal is to create systems that help students develop responsibility for their own work and to make things easier on the whole family.

Kids - Virtual Learning:
Discover ideas for setting up a home work station for your child.  This program will include tips for creating organized desks and moveable work stations for kids, helping your child to declutter their desk, and supporting them as they develop self-management of their daily routines and schoolwork.  The goal is to create systems to make life easier for everyone and to help your child develop responsibility for their own space and work.  And, of course, we will talk about adding elements of fun to your child's workspace!
