Looking to set up some more structure as we move into the new school year? As a veteran teacher turned home organizer, I offer a variety of resources to help you get organized for school. Getting physically organized and creating spaces for work and school can help you to feel more calm and in control. There are a lot of unknowns right now. Spending some time preparing can be very helpful. I am giving several small group Zoom Workshops for parents of grades 3-6 and grades 6-8. We will discuss ways to arrange desks, set up routines, and get your family ready for school. Learn how to create a paper station and a family calendar. Setting expectations and routines are key for creating good work environments for everyone. If you would like more support, I offer one-on-one virtual sessions to help you get organized. The topic is up to you but can include getting ready for school, organizing with your kids, or decluttering your own office. These are one-on-one sessions on your device. We can use the time to create DIY plans for you or we can declutter and reorganize together. Our Summer Declutter Challenge has begun! I will be posting short daily challenges on Instagram to get you started. This week, the theme is "mental clutter". Yesterday's first step was getting everything out of your head and writing down a to do list of tasks you've been meaning to do. We will continue this week by prioritizing and writing more focused to do lists. Next week, we will be taking a look at our clothes. You can either do one challenge or try them all! https://instagram.com/flourishorganizing |
