Happy New Year!  It's a great time to get organized!

1/1/2022

Wishing you and your loved ones a very Happy New Year!

This is a great time of year to get things in order:
-your priorities and goals
-your mental space and focus
-your physical clutter

Don't get overwhelmed.  Just choose one thing to focus on.  Here are some tips to help you get started!

Mental Organizing:

What is your focus for this year?  Have you considered choosing a word instead of New Year's Resolutions?  It's a positive spin to help you stay centered on what is most important to you at this particular moment in time.  Here are some ideas:  hope, independence, play, balance, adventure, organizing, etc.

If you are interested in trying this out, check out this link for more information and ideas:  Choosing a New Year's Word of the Year.

Physical Clutter:

Ready to put your house in order?  It can be overwhelming;  don't give up before you even get started!  One mistake people often make is choosing a task that is too big.  Instead, choose something small - one type of item in the house.  Collect all of that type of item (such as coats), go through them, choose what to keep, and finally reorganize them either together or where you use them.  This method works for most of the items in your home!  Here are step by step instructions using sweaters as an example:  Feel Great in Your Fall Sweaters.
